A Yamantaka Sand Mandala Is Being Created in Lagan.

For the second day now, a marvel is taking shape in Lagan — monks from Drepung Gomang Monastery are creating a Yamantaka sand mandala.

The delegation, led by the Venerable Geshe Lharampa Lobsang Shakya, is working with complete dedication: first, they performed all the necessary rituals and drew a precise outline, and only then began carefully laying out the pattern with coloured sand. The mandala is now taking shape, and a special power can be felt in its delicate lines — for Yamantaka helps overcome obstacles and find inner strength.

It is very important to make time to come and observe this remarkable process — this is a rare opportunity to see a sacred pattern come into being and experience the tradition firsthand.

In Lagan, the mandala will be created from 1 по 6 ноября, alongside the rituals of Serkyem, Chasum and “Dolkar Tsedub” — they purify the space and create conditions for positive change.

There are also daily lectures here on the fundamentals of Buddhism, covering the Three Jewels, prostrations, Vajrasattva, karma and the mantra “Om mani padme hum”.
