We present to your attention the fifth part of the documentary series “The Rosary of Compassion” about the great retreat for reciting 100 million mantras of Avalokiteshvara under the guidance of Lama Zopa Rinpoche, which took place in October 2019 at the Central Khurul of Kalmykia “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni.”

The event was the first of its kind in the history of modern Russia and gathered a large number of participants from Kalmykia, many cities of our country, and abroad. During the retreat, Buddhists received an empowerment into the practice of Avalokiteshvara and numerous teachings from Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and for nearly two weeks took part in practical meditation sessions. The event was an important occasion for Russia and undoubtedly benefited all participants.
