Tomorrow, August 26 (8th lunar day of the month of the dog) is the day of Green Tara.

On this day the “Jolchog” ritual will be held at the Central Khurul of Kalmykia “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni”. The “Jolchog” ritual is a ritual addressed to Green Tara (Nohan Därk). The ritual promotes the purification of karma, successful recovery from illness, the removal of obstacles, the attainment of well-being, the creation of a family, and the birth of children. The mantra of Green Tara: OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SOHA.
