The Mala of Compassion. Documentary Series. Part 3

We present to you the third part of the documentary series “The Mala of Compassion” about the great retreat for reciting 100 million mantras of Avalokiteshvara under the guidance of Lama Zopa Rinpoche, which took place in October 2019 at the Central Khurul of Kalmykia “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni”.

The event was the first of its kind in the history of modern Russia and gathered a large number of participants from Kalmykia, many cities of our country and abroad. During the retreat, Buddhists received the empowerment into the practice of Avalokiteshvara and numerous teachings from Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and for almost two weeks took part in practical meditation sessions. For Russia the event was an important occasion and undoubtedly brought benefit to all participants.
