Address by Shajin Lama of Kalmykia Telo Tulku Rinpoche on National Unity Day

Dear residents of Kalmykia! Dear brothers and sisters! National Unity Day is a holiday for all the peoples of Russia, a holiday of our multiethnic country, a holiday of the unity and solidarity of people of different nationalities and faiths. In these difficult times of the pandemic, it is very important to help and support one another, to show the best of human qualities — love, compassion, respect, and kind-heartedness. On behalf of the Buddhist Association of Kalmykia, the monks of the Central Khurul “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni,” and on my own behalf, I sincerely congratulate you on National Unity Day!
