Prayer Service in Gratitude to All Medical Workers

On May 2 (Saturday) at 14:00, a Medicine Buddha (Otch Manla) prayer service dedicated to all medical workers will be held at the Central Khurul of Kalmykia “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni.” The gelongs of the khurul pray every day for the soonest end to the pandemic and for the speedy recovery of the sick, but in this difficult time we especially want to honor the heroes of our time, our medical workers, who day after day, despite the danger, fight for our lives and health. In gratitude to all medical workers, the monks of the Central Khurul of Kalmykia “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni” will hold the Medicine Buddha (Otch Manla) ritual on Saturday, May 2, at 14:00. The prayer service will be broadcast on our official YouTube channel “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni” and on the official Instagram page “khurul_official.” Join the broadcast, let us pray together for our doctors, nurses, orderlies, ambulance staff, staff of Rospotrebnadzor, laboratory technicians, and all others whose work allows us to withstand the pandemic. During the prayer service, the gelongs recommend reciting the Medicine Buddha mantra: Tadyatha Om Bekandze Bekandze Maha Bekandze Radza Samudgate Soha.
