On May 21, the monks of the Central Khurul will hold the traditional earth worship rite “Hazr Taklhn”.

A sacred place, an ancient tradition, a virtuous intention — all of this will come together on May 21 on the territory of the “Lonely Poplar” natural monument, where the monks of the Central Khurul will hold the traditional earth worship rite “Hazr Taklhn”.

This ancient ritual is not merely a ceremony, but a sincere expression of gratitude to the earth for its generosity and fertility. During the rite, a special offering is made to all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, yidams, Protectors of the Teaching, as well as to all the deities of the locality. Together with the monks, the participants of the rite will  offer prayers for the peace, happiness, and well-being of all sentient beings.

Dear fellow countrymen, the ritual begins at 11:00. You can reach the territory of the “Lonely Poplar” by your own transport or use the city buses, which will depart from the western parking lot of the khurul, on the side of Ilyumzhinov Street, starting from 7.30 in the morning.
