The Dalai Lama Concludes Bestowing the Empowerments from the “Cycle of Manjushri Teachings”

Bodhgaya, Bihar State, India, January 6, 2020 — On the morning of the last day of the teachings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama the sky was cloudless, and the gilded ornaments on the roof of Ganden Phelgyeling Monastery sparkled dazzlingly in the rays of the sun. As on the previous days, His Holiness set off on foot to the Kalachakra ground and along the way tried to greet as many of the people crowding around him as possible. With some he exchanged a few words, to others he waved his hand with the ever-present smile on his face. On the stage, monks and nuns who had won the contest in memorizing texts and versification awaited him for a group photograph.
