Congratulation from the Head of the Buddhists of Kalmykia Telo Tulku Rinpoche on the holiday of Zul

Dear brothers and sisters! A new year is coming! Of course, the most important topic of the outgoing year was the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of us lost loved ones, friends, those we had known for long years; all of them suffered from the pandemic. Of course, this is a great loss for all of us, and as Buddhists we must pray both for all who have departed and for all the living. In these difficult times it is important to preserve love and compassion, patience and strength of spirit. Let us not forget that there have been and are many happy moments in our lives. We must cherish these precious moments. The New Year is approaching. I think it should be filled with hope, optimism, and faith. I offer sincere prayers for the well-being of our people and hope that the coming year will bring many positive events, that through our common efforts we will all make the next year better and create the causes of happiness through the practice of Dharma, through accumulated merit and virtues. From the bottom of my heart I congratulate everyone on the holiday of Zul, the anniversary of the parinirvana of Lama Tsongkhapa, and the 31st anniversary of the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. I sincerely wish everyone happiness, health, well-being, and long life. Zulyn ödrlä ärün setkläsn yöräjänäv, Avsn nasntn ölzätä boltkha, Zurghan züülin ämtn sän säähn bäätkhä! With prayers and good wishes, the Shajin Lama of Kalmykia Telo Tulku Rinpoche
