Dear believers and guests of the Central Khurul! Due to the unfavorable epidemic situation, in fulfillment of the order of the Head of the Republic of Kalmykia and the resolution of the Chief Sanitary Doctor of Kalmykia, the Administration of the Central Khurul is introducing the following restrictions on visiting the temple: The khurul’s working hours are from 8:00 to 18:00. 1. Entry to the territory of the Khurul is only permitted while wearing medical masks; 2. Mandatory observance of a 1.5 m distance; 3. Visitors with a temperature above 37 degrees will not be admitted to the khurul (temperature is measured at the entrance by volunteers); 4. Mandatory sanitization of hands at the entrance to the building of the Central Khurul; 5. The number of visitors present at the same time in the Dugan (the large prayer hall) must not exceed 50 people, the number of museum visitors no more than 10 people at a time; 6. The altar part of the prayer hall is closed to visitors; 7. The library is open only for consultations, the reading room is closed; 8. Lists for the prayer service must be dropped into the box for names; 9. Individual reception is carried out only by appointment tickets (no more than 10 tickets per office); 10. Reception by the Tibetan medicine doctor is limited to 20 people per day, the reception schedule is from 9:00 to 14:00, registration begins at 5:00. The Administration of “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni” asks that you temporarily refrain from visiting the khurul unless absolutely necessary!
